roam + thenight

as i read an article that is talking about the new Toronto food trends, i consistently think of one thing.  passion.  the article speaks on how dining experiences have become something completely different from what chefs and cooks are trying to do. people want something simple, not a dish that is so focused on avant-garde cooking styles or new techniques/technology. people no longer want foams and jellies but something simple that satisfies the palate.  most chefs today are pulling so far away from this state of mind. yet, in these dark times, there are the few that focus on their one dish; the one thing that sets them apart from the rest. this allows the chefs to make the best product possible. this should be the founding principle for resteranteurs, chefs/cooks, and consumers. why? because it is the truth. one product but the best possible product. this principle is the basis of ROAMTHENIGHT and its forever goal.  making good music has many qualification(s) and checklists. but one thing that never fails is the focus and passion of [that] one thing. ROAMTHENIGHT wants to make sure that listeners are going to have a near perfect experience. we are a group that holds passion over novelty, and not the other way around. we’re not going to point our fingers at others or trying to stir a following.  all we hope for is that you enjoy the music. and if you don’t, help us make it enjoyable. love music. love those around you. and, the most important thing, love the fact that you can love.
